So sorry to learn of Jim's passing. He was a gentleman to deal with and was always very helpful. May he rest in peace.
— Jimmy and Phil Curran Cahersiveen
Sincere sympathy is extended to the Browne family on the passing of James (Jim). I met James so many years ago when he came to give a Testimony and talk about the history of his past life in the house I was staying in Medugorje. I am pleased to be wearing one of the Miraculous St Benedict Crucifixes which he gave to our group leader to distribute to all of the group. An amazing man who will be sadly missed by many. Rest in Peace now James and may you enjoy the
Heavenly Crown prepared for you which you have truly earned for all good deeds and endeavours during your lifetime on this earth.

I spoke with Jim by phone one evening when I was really down about a person who was troubling me and a financial concern. I really felt our Lords presence as we spoke and prayed. It was an out of world experience. I never met Jim but he was a truly special person who interceded with Jesus. I have no doubt Jim will be in heaven among God's chosen. Condolences to his family.

My sincere condolences to all of Jim’s family and friends on his passing.

I first met Jim when he came to lead a retreat at Our Lady’s Church in Moss Side, Manchester. I met him again shortly afterwards when he delivered a retreat at St Hilda’s Church in Northenden, Manchester. His retreats were powerful - his love of the Lord and his faithfulness to the inspirations of the Holy Spirit were evident.

I was then blessed to visit Jim on two occasions at his home in Killadoon in September 2022 and September 2021. On our second visit, there was a new addition - Una the sheepdog, who Jim doted on.

Jim was so welcoming. He greeted us with a big hug and brought us in for a cup of tea, producing the largest teapot we have ever seen (more like a watering can!) He said he thought it was mean to give people just a cup of tea.

We were blessed to be able to pray with Jim in his chapel. On our second visit, he showed us the new room which he had built to cater for large groups. He didn’t have the money to pay the builders but God provided through someone who very generously donated €100,000.

At our last visit, Jim said that Our Lady was handing me a yellow rose. He said that we would smell the roses on the way back from his house to Westport, which we did.

Jim loved Our Lady and funded the building of the beautiful shrine to Our Lady at the foot of Croagh Patrick.

I hope and pray that the work you began in Killadoon will continue. That is what you would want. Rest In Peace, dear Jim.

Jim Browne, you carried heavy crosses so that we didn't have to. From broken pieces, God lifted you up and knitted you back together. God sewed this seed in you, so that you were then gifted in bringing so many others to God, through our mama Mary and Medjugorje. Your faith, hope, charity and service for all, lifting all up as valued members of Christs family was so evident in your life and todays service, at your holy funeral mass. It is with deep regret I never got to meet you, nor thank you, for your time and words of knowledge you shared to me.

I trust that our mother Mary, her son Jesus and our blessed father, Joseph, will send others like you to me, to guide me away from dangers and towards the light, and life, that God has planned for me. May I have the grace and the power to do for others, what you have done for me, if this is God's will.

Through Your blood on the cross, Lord, you has set us free. You paid the price for us, our salivation. We pray for Jim's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, may they rest in peace amen.
