Ellen Downey
(née Crowley)
DOWNEY (Killard, Blarney, Cork) On May 4th 2024 peacefully in the presence of her loving family at the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork, ELLEN (NELLIE) née Crowley; beloved wife of the late Donal and much loved mother of Catherine, Michael, Ber, Deirdre, Angela and John. Sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, sister-in-law, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at her home (T23 CR97) on Sunday, May 5th, from 4pm - 6pm. Requiem Mass at 2pm on Monday, May 6th, in the Church of The Most Precious Blood, Clogheen. Ellen's Mass will be live streamed on the following link: https://www.mycondolences.ie/. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary's Cemetery, Curraghkippane. Family flowers only. Donations to Marymount Hospice.
