The death has occurred of
Sheila McElgunn
Sheila McElgunn, passed away peacefully on 1st May, 2024. Much loved and cherished daughter of the late Joe and Sheila. Deeply regretted by her siblings Roisin (Carey), Finola, Deirdre (Fox), Clodagh (Kavanagh) Maeve and John; her Brothers-in-law, Cormac, Mats, Richard, Edward, Sister-in-law Elaine, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. Also deeply regretted by her loving community in the Daughters of Charity (Avista), Lisnagry.
With special thanks to the staff and her friends at her home, The Oaks, Day Services and Community Residential Services. They afforded Sheila every opportunity to achieve her own personal fulfillment.
Sheila lived a wonderful independent life, filled with care, compassion and laughter.
May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
In accordance with her wishes, Sheila’s funeral will be private.
