Bessie Benn
(née Deane)

Benn (Distillery Road, Bandon and late of Oliver Plunkett Street) on April 15th 2024 peacefully at her home. Bessie (nee Deane, Bunalun), beloved wife of the late Cecil, loving mother of Ronald, Linda (Dawson), Hazel (Kelleher), Gordon, Sylvia (Stafford) and Nigel, and mother-in-law of the late Graeme.

Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Jean and Karen, Nigel’s partner Julie, sons-in-law Stephen and Richard, her 16 adored grandchildren Gavin and Mark Benn, Ben, Darren and Zack Dawson, Jane and Hilary Kelleher, Jonathan, Christopher and Matthew Benn, Rachel and Ben Stafford, Niamh, Saoirse, Oisin and Aoife Benn, great-grandchildren Ozzy, Ali, Fionn and Donnacha, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reception Prayers on Friday at 6pm in St. Peter’s Church, Bandon and the family will be in attendance until 8pm. Funeral Service on Saturday at 2.30pm which will be livestreamed on www.corklivestream.com/funerals, funeral afterwards to the adjoining Churchyard.
