Creighton, Bridget (née Murphy), 3844 Bailey Avenue, The Bronx, New York and formerly of Dreelingstown, Rathmoyle, Co. Kilkenny.

Peacefully, in New York, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, 26th February 2024.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Jimmy (late of Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim), her parents Jim and Lena, brothers Kieran and Michael (Dreelingstown).

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving children Kieran and Ellen, grandchildren Anastasia, James, Ryan, Kieran Anthony and Mikaela, daughter-in-law Mary, son-in-law Pat, sister-in-law Anne Murphy (Dreelingstown), nieces, nephews, numerous cousins in Ballycallan and surrounding areas, relatives, neighbours and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, 1st March at 9.45am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 6000 Riverdale Avenue, The Bronx, New York 10471. Burial will take place afterwards at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 101 Mill Street, Putnam Valley, New York 10579.

A Memorial Mass for Bridget will be celebrated in St. Brigid’s Church, Ballycallan, Kilkenny on Thursday, 18th April at 7pm.
