Bridget Mary (Maura) Mahon
(née Shaughnessy)

Peacefully on April 1st, 2024, in her 93rd year, surrounded by her loving family. Bridget Mary is predeceased by her husband John Mahon, her parents James and Bridget Shaughnessy, her brothers Jimmy, Joe Pat, Mickey, Colm, her sisters Patricia, Elizabeth, Katie, Teresa.

Bridget Mary will be forever missed as an adored mother to Mary, Anne, John and Caroline and much cherished grandmother to Michael, Jethro, Christian James and Gabrielle.

Sadly and fondly missed by her brother Jack (Killoe), sisters Annie-Jo Igoe (Killoe), Alice Buddin (California), Rose Ebersole (California), son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Joanne, her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews and her extended family and friends.

Bridget Mary will have a private funeral in Melbourne on Friday April 12th. A Memorial Mass to remember Bridget Mary in Longford will take place on Saturday April 13th at 7pm in St. Mary’s Church, Ennybegs, Killoe, Co. Longford.
