Cecilia O'Brien
(née Swan)
Cecilia O’Brien, Scalestown, Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath. 26th March 2024. Peacefully, at Hillview Nursing Home, Rathfeigh, Co Meath. Beloved wife of the late Donal and mother of Siobhan (Gore), Francis, Rosemary (Clarke), Brendan, Gráinne (Mc Carthy) and Treassa (O’Meara). Cecilia will be sadly missed by her family, her sisters May and Dorrie, brother Effie, brother-in-law Colum and Fintan, sister-in-law Maura, Ita and Kathleen, daughters-in-law Maeve and Edel, sons-in-law Billy, John, David and Evin, her twenty grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at her daughter Siobhan's residence, Rathfeigh C15CV99 from 6pm until 8pm on Wednesday. Funeral Liturgy on Thursday at 12 o’clock in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rathfeigh followed by burial in Rathfeigh Cemetery. Those unable to attend can follow Cecilia's funeral Mass on the link below. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the Alzheimers Society of Ireland.
