So sorry for your loss Aveen and family. May she rest in peace. ❤️
— Hannah Delahan
Sending lots of love to all of Aisling's friends and family. Aisling worked on my short film Young People of Ireland, which I now know was her last film. I am so honoured to have had her work on the film. Aisling very generously donated her time and experience to this low budget independent short. I was very touched by the attention she paid to the characterisation of the makeup- for example she decided that one of the characters wouldn’t take her makeup off before bed, so created a smudged look. I was so happy to have such attention and creativity contributed to a character I wrote, it means a lot to me as a new filmmaker. It is very special to know that she contributed to this film despite being ill, which I didn’t know at the time as she kept this private. I sent Aisling a thank you note afterwards but it never seems enough when you know you will never have another chance. I am thinking of all who were close to Aisling. She certainly made an impression on me and her influence will live on. Thank you Ash x

So sorry to hear of Aisling’s death. Met her through Zumba in the Harold And other locations. Only this week realised she was sister-in-law of good golfing friend Stella. She was unique. Always enjoyed her company. Listened to her amazing podcast and watched funeral this evening as couldn’t be there yesterday. What a send off. Know she was very involved in its preparation. May she rest in peace. Hope all her family have strength from her courage.

— Sue McKeever and family
The day I dreaded, the day that Ash would take her wings and tiara and float up to the heavens has come. I met Ash in 2002 when I signed with the same agent that Ash was signed with, 1st Option. I loved her instantly. She was like a magical being from another world and I REALLY loved being in that world when I was lucky enough to be in her company. After Ash was diagnosed we met for a chat and she asked me if she could come on some gigs with me and help out, she wanted to stay connected. I said yes of course but I told her that I thought that she would probably do her best work now. That she could NOT stop creating as the art would help to soften her pain. I'm so grateful that I got to be in her company, painting faces, having the laughs. How lucky I was to be in her presence for all of those years but especially in these last few years. Ash you will never leave my mind and I will miss you forever. You are so very loved.

I was so very sorry to hear of Aislings passing. A woman who was passionate about make up and candles! I can honestly say when she did my makeup for some big event or night I felt a million dollars - she made me feel like a supermodel. I hadnt seen her in many years but she is someone who's kindness I remember very fondly.
