I was so sorry to hear about Amanda's passing. When I worked in Pavilion Theatre over the last few years she was always so kind and friendly when she came in, and I loved chatting with her. She took a genuine interest in myself and everyone who worked there, engaging in the most fascinating discussions with us about whatever was on. She was such an interesting, thoughtful, genuine person who always left a smile on my face. Her generosity was second to none and she was one of a kind – I feel very lucky to have met her and I am sad she is gone. She will be so missed.
— Sarah

I am so shocked to hear of Amanda's passing. She was a regular at Monday cinema in Pavilion and it was such a joy having her in. She always made time to come and chat to me before and after each film. I will miss our talks. There was many a bad day made brighter by her presence. She had an instinct, it seemed, for knowing if someone needed a kind word or a smile and she was always there to give it. Sleep well Amanda.
— Emma Ryan (Pavilion Theatre)
I was so sad and shocked to hear of Amanda's passing, I had gotten to know her through our common interest in movies at the Pavilion in Dun Laoghaire and will miss our post movie analysis on the way home or chat about her latest reads or other movies she had watched the previous week, she was a font of all arts and culture and a great conversationalist and such a lovely person. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Amanda your heart was too big for this world. Your self awareness and spiritual awareness mixed with a deep belief in the goodness of humanity was an inspiration. We used to sit for hours like two Anthropologists chatting about people and the meaning of this life and what was our purpose in the world.
Our coffees would go cold as we'd be chatting so much and up we would go to order more. Sometimes we had to order more just because we were taking up the seat in the coffee shop for so long.
Your laugh and big beautiful smile were infectious.
I always came away from your company feeling better about myself, hopeful about the world, motivated and inspired.
May you dream the dreams of Angels, where all your worries cease, whilst you sleep the sleep of the innocent, full of love, contentment and peace.
Margaret and Rebecca may the love of a thousand Angels be beside you and may the light of Amanda's star always guide you. Praying for strength and comfort to surround you both in the weeks and months to come.
— Jenny
