I also knew Brian for a few years around the same time as my friend Brian Kelly. I also only heard the news today as I had lost contact with him. I knew him mostly from film related stuff in the IFI and film festivals and we had many the drink together. Brian was a very decent and funny person, very sad to hear he passed away at such a young age. My condolences to his family.
Only heard today, Oct 31, about Brian's passing and am really saddened to know he is no longer with us.
I knew Brian for many years but lost touched with him in the last few years of his life. I will always remember him as a kind, considerate soul with a great sense of humour . My condolences to all his family. May he rest in peace.
