May I offer sincere sympathies on behalf of the Bray Strollers B group to the Dowling family on the recent very sad loss of their son Daniel. We were frequent visitors to Glenmalure hotel where Daniel looked after our overnight bookings and I speak for all the Bray Strollers in saying he will be greatly missed.

It was a terrible shock to hear of Danny's passing. We would like to offer all his family and friends our deepest condolences at this very sad time. I had the privilege of being in the same year as Danny in Blackrock. I'll always remeber his quick wit and larger than life smile, he lit up any room he was in. He will be sorely missed by so many and was a true gent. May Danny rest in peace.

The most generous, friendly caring person to ever walk the isle of ireland. Its not that long ago he told me how proud he was of you britt and his two boys that they were the reason he got up every day. A man of many words and always stopped for the chats when passing. The lodge wont be the same without him but i hold firm belief that even thought the whole community is devasted danny boy would not want us to be sad he would want us to remember him the way we do and carry his name on in spirit and forever talk about him ❤️ Brittany and boys be so proud of your danny as he had the biggest heart of gold that will forever have a special place in the glen ❤️ RIP danny.. another good one gone far to young ....

We are so, so sorry for your loss. God bless you all. We were sorry we could not attend the wake or funeral because we are in France. However, at the time of the funeral we lit a candle for Danny and for all of you at the Couvent des Jacobins in Toulouse. It seemed an appropriately rugby city to remember Danny in.
