So sorry to hear of the passing of Ger RIP. Sincere sympathy to his sister Patricia and extended Long family. I met Ger through my involvement with the commeration of my Grand uncle Cpt.Ned Somers last year. Ger was so helpful in setting up the venue and the celebration afterwards in the hall in Rosegreen. My family will be forever grateful for his knowledge of this historical event and his enthuasism. A very pleasant man.May he now RIP.

Gerry was on our committee in recent years and was the link to the Historical society.
His passion was the annual Book Fair and always made sure that everything was in place for this great event .

In more recent years we were involved together with the Vintage club and Fethard Ballroom.
