Thinking of Navi & the McDaid family at such a heartbreaking time. John was a good friend to me in Melbourne & Dublin. He would have us in tears of laughter with his hilarious banter but he also had the biggest heart. Such a loss to anyone who was lucky enough to call him a friend. Rest in Peace John xxx

Had the pleasure of living with John for 2 years In liverpool. From the moment I met him I knew how much of a lovely person he was. He always made sure me and the rest of our household were ok, and always in good spirits. I will forever cherish my time in the city, and a lot of that is down to John.
