I was saddened to receive the news about Joe's passing. Condolences to his family and many friends. He was great company on our trips to international matches. When I heard of Joe’s death I couldn’t help thinking of the great times we had on all our trips away - Portugal, Germany, Poland, France to name but a few and not to forget

It was with great sadness I heard of the passing of my dear Friend. He was a true Gentleman and a truly wonderful Friend. We travelled to many great places together to see some great Football matches. I have some lovely Albums and photos given to me by Joe. Lovely man. Often sat with Joe in the front row of the press box at Lansdowne Road, where he liked to watch a game, when not taking photographs. A great Irish football man.
