Achille Boothman was just the width of an upright from All-Ireland glory in 1961. As a Kilkenny man, I always admired Achille's skill with the caman and his impeccable sportsmanship, RIP.

Sincere sympathy to the Boothman family on the death of Achille. My memories of him will always include the 1961 All Ireland Hurling Final. May he Rest in Peace.
