Sending sincerest condolences to all the Gilligan family, on the passing of a wonderful woman, whom I had the pleasure of sharing my birthday with for the many years I knew her as a friend, and in her typical charismatic manner, she never forgot to remind me of this bond. She has truly earned her angel wings. I'm so sorry I can't be there with you today, but will be thinking of you all with very fond memories.

I am so sorry for your loss Paul, Sean and Brian. I have many fond memories of your mam. Always smiling and always had time for a chat as we got older. Great laughs. Of course, as a child, Oklahoma, was the best thing she gave us. Her dedication was incredible and we floated on air on the nights of the show. Great fun. May you rest in peace now Maureen. Little did I think when I did backstage for Pippin with Marino Miscellany back in 1984 with Maureen at the helm what it would lead to. Maureen asked me to join the backstage Crew for Telecom Tops of the Town and the rest as they say is history. Thank you Maureen for the encouragement, for the life long friends I have made, for 40 years of fun and adventures. Rest in peace Maureen.
Unfortunately I am very sad to say I cannot be there tomorrow, but I have no doubt of the beautiful send of you will all give your Mum. ❤️

We in edenmore ladies variety group patsy byrne was our choreographer and maureen was our director i was the p r o of the group im delightedto say we won lot of prizes and we topped it all we won the stardust award both patsy and maureen were two fantastic people we lived our shows and tapdancing unfortunately a lot of our dancers have passed rest in peace to all of the women and to you maureen we thank you for all the time of three years u spent with our variety group we though the world of you so maureen you.
