What's there to say - so sad at Maureen's passing but thankful for such a long and fruitful life. And thankful too to have spoken with her via Terrence on her 103rd birthday just days ago. So many wonderful memories of my time spent with Maureen and Eileen at The Manor as well as with Terrence and Susan and family at Cappamore during the 70s. The hospitality, the many characters who made life at The Manor such a vibrant and welcoming place for whoever graced the door. Never a dull moment. I was so sorry to leave when the call of home eventually beckoned but lucky to revisit from time to time over the years to introduce my wife Mary Ann and sons Patrick and Anthony to a part of my life that was treasured and so important to me. The MacMahon legacy continues down here at the bottom of the world within our extended family. Rest in peace, Maureen, and to your surviving nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends, our thoughts will be with you and the candle burning as you bid farewell to Maureen on Monday morning (evening our time)
