I always enjoyed catching up with Maureen on our family trips to Renvyle with Nicola. We shared some lovely meals, she always had the latest craic and was so good to the kids.

May she rest in peace.

Such sad news to hear of Auntie Maureen’s sudden passing, she will be missed so much.

She was a truly unique person. She was always very much herself and stayed true to her values.

She had a mischievous grin and a great sense of humour, which she no doubt needed being the first girl to arrive into a family with seven older brothers.

Most of all, I will remember Maureen for her kind and thoughtful ways. She always kept in contact and made sure she remembered birthdays, anniversaries and organised masses for deceased family members. She showed up to celebrate all the milestone events and welcomed new babies into the family with beautiful quilts she handmade.

Maureen, you were a one-off and won’t be forgotten. Rest in peace.

It was wonderful to meet Maureen when we went to Ireland. She was witty, lovely, and accepted us as family even though we had just met her. Loved all her conversations and her designs for shirts, pillow cases. We will miss her. Rest in peace Maureen. Our prayers go out to all her family.

It was with great shock and sadness to hear of my Auntie Maureen's sudden passing. She will be forever missed by her family, friends and neighbours. Anyone fortunate enough to have spent time in her company will miss her razor sharp wit and sense of humour even if they wandered into the cross hairs of it from time to time. She was a fountain of local knowledge often knowing news, craic and stories as they were developing. Her nuggets of distilled wisdom that were passed down will be missed. She was steadfast in her devotion to her faith, true to her values and stood by her principles. May you rest in peace and go forward to your eternal reward.

I remember the great times when we worked together in Diamonds Bar, Renvyle, we always had a great time and a good laugh and going to the dances.
