To Mary Delia Barbra Nora Padraig and Sean

It was with great sadness I learnt that Stephen had died yesterday. As a neighbour of Stephen for 16 years and then always call to his house when back On visits to my parents and after they passed he was a lovely man As I’m U.K. based construction manager for 33 yrs he loved the chat from the sites the crown in Cricklewood dances or clubs in Kilburn etc. he was there in late fifties early sixties one of Mc Alpines fusiliers of that era, working hard and getting underpaid for the hard work of those times shovelling pulling climbing scaffold with 50kg bricks . I remember telling him about seafóid ól at Christmas parties and lads to sick to work fighting, too much talk they should be listening. He loved the laughs and the cockney slang. I will miss him certainly a kind decent guy never a bad word, he could make a statue laugh. Look after yourselves in the days ahead. May he rest in peace a nice man and lovely neighbour
