I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Valerie well, from the family gatherings we had over the years in Parkgate Street. My prayers are with all of you.

Absolutely devastated to hear of Val's passing, she interviewed me & gave me what turned out to be one of my favourite jobs i have ever had. We both smoked at the time and had plenty of chats & gossips sneaking out for ciggies where she spoke only of her children especially Gillian, her adored grandchildren her trips to Dubai to see her son & her partner Ray. She was an absolute lady hard as nails on the outside but soft as mallow on the inside once she let you in (which defo took a while!) My last memories of Val where our evenings out at the Arnotts Warehouse Sale vaping our way through counting the cash.. Sending all my love to Val's children who were the biggest joy in her life... May you find peace among the pain and smiles from the memories of all who knew & adored Val. RIP Val i hope there is an endless supply of Vapes & Ciggarettes in heaven xxx

I met Valerie on her first day when she arrived into Arnotts Cashiers Office and we remained friends ever since.
