Billy will be missed so much in our household. A friendship that started 40 years ago when his mum and dad moved to Lisinasky.
His dad loved gardening and passed this love of gardening to Billy and me. His mum loved home baking and passed the love of baking to me and Billy loved to test fresh baking and even if given 5 mins notice would make it down for a very enjoyable supper that could go on for hours. (His favourite being new potatoes and Dairygold butter!)
As work starts in the garden I already miss Billy’s help and advice but I have so many beautiful plants in my garden which I received from Billy over the years, Billy will never be forgotten.
It was lovely to meet Billy’s relatives recently who he spoke so fondly about every time we met.
Rest in peace Billy and give Dan and Lilly our love x
