David Gibbons

Gibbons (Bandon and late of Bantry) on March 25th 2024 suddenly at his home in Castle Road. David (in his 98th year), beloved husband of the late Peggy and dear father of Elmarie (Hahn), Alex, Anne (Hurley) and David.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Stephen and Charles, daughters-in-law Pauline and Emma, his 9 adored grandchildren, his great-grandchild Leia, brother Paul, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

David will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon on Holy Thursday from 5.30pm followed by prayers at 6.30pm.

Removal on Good Friday at 1pm from Funeral Home to St. Patrick's Church, Bandon for Liturgy of the Word at 1.30pm which will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie/, funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
