The death has occurred of Della Hunt (nee Skinnader), 20 Glenview Drive, Monaghan, Co. Monaghan, Friday 19th April 2024, after a short illness, surrounded by her family and the amazing staff and palliative team at Willowbridge, Monaghan General Hospital.

Youngest daughter of the late William and Brigid Skinnader, Curkin, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan and beloved wife of the late Peter Hunt. Pre-deceased by her siblings, Eileen, Mary, Owenie, Kathleen and Willie. Della will be deeply regretted and remembered with love by her children Finola, Denis, Caroline (Ronan), Emma and Julie (Martin), and granddaughter Alannah and extended family and friends.

Della's remains will repose at her home on Saturday from 4pm - 8pm and Sunday from 4pm - 8pm. House private to family and friends Monday morning, please. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am at St.Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care c/o Peter McMahon, McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.
