Dr. Alan Delaney

Delaney, Alan, Doctors Road, Ballyhaunis and formerly of Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. (Gormanston College and UHG) On April 17th 2024 Alan died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at his home. Predeceased by his wife Joan and brother Michael (Fr. Ailbe).

He will be sadly missed by his children Dónal. Laura, Keith, Ursula, Aine and Alan, his daughters-in-law Inese, Mary and Eimear, grandchildren Harry, Adam, Jane, Sophie, Anna, Lukass, Nancy, Maggie, Ailbe and Avery, sisters Pauline and Joan, cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Donnellans Funeral Home, Clare Street, Ballyhaunis on Friday evening, April 19th, from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, 20th April, at 11am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ballyhaunis, followed by burial at Ballyhaunis Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to the Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
