The death has occurred of
Eilish Withers
(née Thornhill)
Withers (Banteer). On April 16th 2024, unexpectedly but peacefully at Cork University Hospital, Eilish, Shronebeha, (nee Thornhill, Kilcanway, Killavullen), beloved wife of Philip and dear mother of Bríd, daughter of the late Patrick and Bridget Thornhill, sister of Pauline (Flynn) Castletownroche and the late Breda, Jim and Michael and sister-in-law of the late Bridget (Hartnett). Deeply regretted by her loving family, brothers-in-law Denis, Jerry and Christie, sisters-in-law Catherine, Ann, Mary and Eilish, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at McCarthy's Funeral Home, Banteer on Friday (April 19th) from 5:30p.m. with prayers at 7:30p.m. Reception into St. Fursey's Church, Banteer on Saturday (April 20th) for 11:00a.m. Requiem Mass, which can be viewed live on http://www.churchservices.tv/banteer. Burial afterwards in St Fursey's Cemetery, Banteer.
