James (Jim) Poynton

The death has occurred of James (Jim) Poynton, Ballyhealy, Delvin, Co. Westmeath, suddenly at home on the 27th March, 2024.

Predeceased by his parents Joe and Mary and sisters Kate and Mary.

Loving brother of Joe, Betty (McElroy) and Phyllis (Jay). Jim will be sadly missed by his brother, sisters, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

May Jim's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Ennis's Funeral Home, Killucan this Sunday evening from 4.30pm with prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin followed by burial in the local cemetery.
