The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Mullins. 5, Phillip Street, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow. Formerly of Harrowcross and Graiguecullen, Co. Carlow. Jimmy passed away, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital, Co. Kilkenny, on May 7th 2024, after a short illness. Jimmy was predeceased by his wife Frances, parents Martin and Margaret, brothers Andrew (Andy), Martin and Patrick (Paddy), sister Mary and his sisters-in-law Breda (Murphy), Margaret, Mary and Breda (Mullins). He will be deeply missed by his brothers John (Johnny) and Edward (Neddie), nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Cushen's Funeral Home, Kilcarrig Street, Bagenalstown (Eircode; R21 V127) on Thursday, 9th May from 3pm until 8pm, with prayers at 6.15pm. Removal from Cushen's Funeral Home on Friday, 10th May, to arrive at St. Andrew's Church, Bagenalstown, for Requiem Mass at 3pm. Burial afterwards in Newtown Cemetery.
