MURPHY, Deenish House, Seaview Terrace, East End, Castletownbere, Co.Cork and formerly of Knightstown, Valentia Island, Co.Kerry on the 18th April 2024 at home peacefully in the presence of his loving family, JOHN. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his wife Mary, daughters Regina (Bergin), Loretta (Czepapiewski) and Mariese, Sister Pat, sons in law Kevin and Mark, grandchildren Lauren, Jacqui, Sarah, Keira and Eoin, brother in law John Edward, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his sister Marie and brother Mike.

Reposing In Harrington’s Funeral Home, Castletownbere from 5pm - 7pm on Friday (19th) followed by the rosary and removal to his home, HOUSE PRIVATE. Requiem mass will take place at 3pm on Saturday (20th) in The Church Of The Sacred Heart, Castletownbere. John will make his final trip around the pier followed by burial in St.Mary’s Cemetery in Droum. Link to view funeral mass below. Funeral cortège will leave Johns home at approximately 2.30pm.
