Marguerite (Peggy) Murphy
(née Hurley)
MURPHY (Cork) On 26th March 2024, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, MARGUERITE (PEGGY, nee Hurley), Dunmore Gardens, Knocknaheeny and late of St. Catherine’s Place, Off Gerald Griffin Street. Dearly beloved mother of Loretta, Wayne, Nikita and Denver, adored Nana Peig of Abby, Ross, Kara, Lexi, Daniel and Jake.
Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, son-in-law Mark, daughters-in-law Sinead and Georgina, extended family, neighbours and friends, especially life-long neighbour and friend Noreen Kenneally and Family.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Good Friday (29th March) at 10.00am, family in attendance from 5.30pm with Prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Easter Monday (1st April) at 10.00am in St. Mary’s on the Hill Church, Knocknaheeny. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
May she rest in peace.
