Paul (Wogga) Barnes

The death has occurred of

Paul (Wogga) Barnes

Finglas, Dublin

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of the gregarious, fun-loving, and playful soul, Wogga Barnes on Sunday, the 14th of April.

Wogga was not just a beloved father to Ella, but a source of joy and light in the lives of all who knew him. His infectious laughter and zest for life brought warmth to every gathering, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to call him friend.

As the loving son of Trish and the late Heno, and cherished brother of Maria, Pixi, and Darren, Wogga's presence in the lives of his family was a source of boundless love and support. Though he may have left this earthly realm too soon, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

Wogga's legacy of love extends beyond his immediate family, touching the lives of his daughter Ella and her mother Laura, his dear nieces Erin and Ellie, nephews Kaylem, Jake, and Danny, as well as his brother-in-law John, Pixi's partner Jonathan, and Darren's partner Joan. He will be fondly remembered by his grandmother Patricia, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends who cherished his company and his friendship.

May he find eternal peace.

Those who wish to pay their respects are invited to visit Wogga's home on Friday, the 19th, between 5pm and 7pm. His Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning at Saint Canice’s Church in Finglas Village, commencing at 10am, followed by Cremation at Dardistown Crematorium.

In the midst of our sorrow, let us find solace in the memories we shared with Wogga and in the knowledge that he is now at peace.
Family flowers only, donations to Pieta House.

Arrangements entrusted to Michael Doyle Funeral Directors.
