Bates, Peter (Highfield, Our Lady’s Island, Co. Wexford), May 8, 2024, beloved husband of Jean, father of Saoirse and Aoibheann, brother of Colm, Eamon and Helen, son of Ethel and the late Peter, son-in-law of Paddy and Anne Scallan; sadly missed by his loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing in his residence on Thursday from 3pm until 7pm. House private at all other times, please. Funeral Mass on Friday at 2pm in Church of the Assumption Our Lady’s Island, burial afterwards in Our Lady’s Island Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, to the Irish Cancer Society.
