Richard (Dick) Power

It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Richard (Dick) Power, on the 1st of May age 85 years. Dick passed away peacefully at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary in Scotland surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his brothers Neddy, Willie, Tommy and sisters Kathleen and Stasia. Sadly missed by his sisters Peggy, Bridget, Alice and Mary.

Dick will be missed by his beloved wife June of 61 years, a wonderful father to Tracy, Marie, Neil, Joanne and Clare. Sadly missed by his son in laws and daughter in law, his adoring grandchildren - Jack, Megan, Eva, Liam, Jessica, Sandy and Archie.

Dick resided in Scotland for 60 years but his heart and home was always firmly placed in Old Luffany, Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny.

May the wind be at your back,

May the sun shine warm upon your face,

The rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of His Hand.

Dick’s Funeral will take place on Friday 24th of May at St Andrew’s Church, Dumfries, Scotland at 1.30pm followed by Cremation at Roucan Loch, Dumfries. All family and friends are respectfully invited.
