It is with deep sadness and regret that the Finnerty family share the news of Rose’s passing on Wednesday, 17 April, 2024 peacefully at University Hospital, Galway surrounded by her loving family after an illness very bravely borne.

Pre-deceased by her brothers Pat and Michael and sisters Maggie, Biddy, Mary and Elizabeth.

She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband and best friend Bartley, sons and daughters Mary, Bartley, Rosemary, Anthony, Patrick, William, Elizabeth, Brendan and James and by their partners and families. Fondly remembered always by her much- loved grandchildren, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, the extended Finnerty and Ryan family, neighbours and friends. Rest in peace our loving warrior.

Reposing at Aiséirí, Moycullen, (H91 Y54A) on Friday evening, 19 April, from 5p.m with Removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, at 6.30 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Rose on Saturday, 20 April, at 12 noon and following Mass, she will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.This Mass will be broadcast live, using the link below.
