Shane passed away unexpectedly at his home in Weston, Connecticut, USA on Friday October 27th, 2023.
Shane, beloved husband of Deirdre (nee Whelan), proud father of daughter Keelin and sons Eoin, Conor, and Ciaran, son of Anne and the late Garry, brother to Paula, David, and Barry will be sadly missed by his family, in-laws, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and his wide circle of friends, colleagues, and the community of Kinsale which, despite his travels, he always kept close to his heart.

A Funeral Mass took place at St. Pius X Parish Church in Fairfield, Connecticut, on Saturday November 4th, 2023.
