The death has occurred of Bridget (Bridgie) Mernagh (née O'Hanlon) Forristalstown, Glenmore, Co. Kilkenny. 27th April 2024.

Bridget, who had been in the tender loving care of her family before being moved in her final days to the Oak Ward, University Hospital Waterford, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Paddy and predeceased by her parents Jim & Statia.

Adored mother of Peter, Séamas, Dermot, Paul, Ray, Denise, Louise and their partners. Treasured grandmother of Cian & Leah, very sadly missed by her beloved brothers & sisters, extended family neighbours, friends and wonderful carers.

Funeral arriving to St. James' Church, Glenmore, Co. Kilkenny on Wednesday 1st May for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.

A private family cremation service will take place on Thursday 2nd May.
