Sincere condolences to his siblings and family. ImSaddened to read about Tony’s passing as I met him in South Africa at De Beers in the Springs factory. Both single we shared a lot of social & even sport ie rugby ( I will always remember well as I received a hospital pass during a rugby game and have an AC joint dislocation as a souvenir. He loved singing the Irish ballots & so did a lot of the SA Maisie’s! Later we travelled via Stockholm to the plant in N Sweden again a memorable evening. I was pleased when he tracked me down and called me a few years ago. Happy memories tall fella carry on the good times in your new life👍✔️✔️

I have known Tony since he first came to Calgary almost 50 years ago; we played rugby together with the Calgary Irish, went on ski trips together and shared many a good day at various social gatherings. Our fathers knew each other through the equine industry so we shared an instant connection.
I am deeply saddened by Tony’s passing, and my condolences are extended to all the Barry family members, wherever they may be - in Ireland, in Canada and further afield. Tony will be a great loss to us all. Solas na bhflaitheas ar a anam uasal.
