John passed away on the 9th May 2024, peacefully, surrounded by his family and in the in the loving care of the staff at St. Gabriel's Ward, St. Canice's Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved father of Corinna. John will be sadly missed by his daughter, sisters Margaret and Noreen, cousin and best friend Murty, son-in-law Gerry, long term companion Linda and her daughter Shannon, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

John is predeceased by his sisters Tess, Mary and brother Michael.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Saturday (11th May) from 4pm to 6pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 5.15pm. Requiem Mass on Monday morning (13th May) at 10.30am in St. John's Church, Kilkenny. Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery.
