The death has occurred of
Gertrude (Gertie) Murphy
(née Kavanagh)
Murphy, (née Kavanagh) Lower Main Street, Arklow, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Galway, 8th August 2020, peacefully, in the excellent care of Andrea and her wonderful staff at Asgard Lodge Nursing Home. Gertrude (Gertie), beloved wife of the late Johnny. She will be sadly missed by her extended family, relatives, friends, especially everyone at The Asgard Lodge Nursing Home and neighbours.

We appreciate all the love and support from family and friends. As we are legally bound, to follow the guidelines set out for us by government, it is necessary to have a private funeral. If you wish you can join in the celebration of Gertrude’s (Gertie’s) funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 10am, via http://www.arklowparish.ie/webcam/
Burial immediately afterwards in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, arriving at 11am (driving all the way)
