Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home. His loss will be deeply and sincerely regretted by his wife Maura, daughters and sons Jenette, Jackie, Damien, John and Avril, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his grandson David.

Due to continued restrictions on numbers at public gatherings, Jack’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family and close friends only.
There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and to remember by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Saturday, September 12th, as Jack is brought from his family reposal in Chapel Street to St. Nicholas’ Church for Funeral Mass at 11am and afterwards for burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
