Peacefully surrounded by her loving family & in the tender care of Asgard Lodge Nursing Home, Ellen (Nellie) beloved wife of John, adored mother of Joseph, Ann Marie (Smyth) & Patricia (Shortall) & much loved sister of May, Marie, Martha & the late Lil, Bride, Maggie, Harry & Jack. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, son, daughters, sons-in-law David & Jim, Joseph’s partner Doreen, grandchildren Natasha, Michaela, James, Katie, Jack, Martin, Paul, Stephen, Amy, Senan & Tiernan, great-grandchildren Óran & Éabha, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

In accordance with government guidelines, Nellie’s funeral will take place in private. Family & friends are welcome to visit by appointment to pay their respects at Sweeney's Funeral Home on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. Please phone 0402 32333 to arrange your time. Removal from her residence on Monday morning for private Funeral Mass at 10 o’clock in St. Joseph’s Church, Templerainey, walking from the Wheeliepump. The Funeral Mass can be viewed via webcam, please see the link below. Burial afterwards in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, walking from Lamberton.
