Passed peacefully at home. Beloved brother of Pauline and the late Leo, Ted, Frank, Donald, Gen and Norah. He will be deeply mourned by his surviving sister, nieces, nephews, extended family, dearest friends, generous neighbours and devoted carers.

Due to new Level 5 restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Dermot’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family only.
There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and to remember Dermot by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Saturday, January 2nd, as his funeral cortege leaves from Quinn’s Funeral Home, Bridge Street, Dundalk to pass his home, proceeding to St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Blackrock for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in St. Fursey’s Cemetery, Haggardstown.
