In her 90th year, died peacefully in the gentle care of the staff of Carlingford Nursing Home. Dearly beloved wife of the late Pat. Barbara will be sadly missed by her brothers Fergus and Tony, sisters-in-law Margaret and Mary, niece Michelle (London), nephew Fergus (London), grandnephew Thomas (London), cousins and friends. Her nephew Tony Jr. predeceased her.

Due to Level 5 restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Barbara’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family only.
There will be an opportunity for the community to show support and to remember Barbara by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Monday, February 15th as the funeral cortege travels from Dundalk on the R173/175, continuing via St. James’ Well to the Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea, Boher, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Afterwards, the cortege will proceed to Shore Road, return to travel on Euston Street and Anglesey Terrace, continuing via Coast Road, Taaffe’s Castle, Market Square and Dundalk Street to St. Michaels’ Cemetery, Carlingford for burial.
