Unexpectedly. Beloved husband of Bernadette (nee Hodgers), son of the late Tony and Josie (St. Nicholas’ Avenue), dad of Michelle, Orla and Leanne, granda of Lee, Alex, Sienna, Jenna, Liam, Jack and Dylan and brother of Patsy, Clement, Dermot, Michael, Alan, Gary, Tina, Caroline, Aideen, Roisin and the late Mary. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, daughters, sons-in-law Noel, Francis and Darren, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to current restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Seán’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family and close friends only.

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and to remember Seán by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Wednesday, May 19th as the funeral cortege leaves his home, driving via St. Nicholas’ Avenue, continuing to St. Nicholas’ Church, arriving for Mass at 11am. Afterwards, the cortege will proceed on foot to St. Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.
