Niall DELANEY

Unexpectedly, at home. Beloved son of Declan and Noreen, brother of Emma and grandson of Brendan and Rose (Delaney) and the late Patrick and Imelda (Muckian). He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing parents, sister, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and many great friends.

Due to current restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Niall’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family and close friends only on Thursday, July 1st  in St. Brigid’s Church, Kilcurry at 11am.

There will be an opportunity for the community to show support and to remember Niall by being present on the route, socially distanced, as the funeral cortege leaves the family home in Upper Faughart on Thursday at 10.30am, proceeding via St. Brigid’s Shrine, Whitemill, Annies and Carrickedmond. After Mass the cortege will continue via Lisdoo to St. Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Dundalk Branch, Irish Red Cross.
