Ann Kirwan

It is with profound sadness that we convey the passing of Ann Kirwan (née Shiels), 8 Newbridge Street, Birr, Co. Offaly, September 26th, peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Paddy and devoted mother of the late Billy. She will be deeply missed by her children; Paula, Alan, John, Lorraine, and Yvonne, along with their partners; Laurence, John, and Paul, her cherished grandchildren; Billy, Simon, Jennifer, Alaina, Shauna, Adam, Neil, Lyn, Charlene, Sophie, and Maria and her fourteen great-grandchildren.

She is lovingly remembered by her sisters; Mary, Angela, Breeda and Pat, as well as her brother-in-law, and her much-loved nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr on Saturday evening from 5pm. -7pm. Ann's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, September 29th, at 12 noon in St. Brendan's Church, Wilmer Road, Birr, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery.

Family flowers only donations to the Palliative Care Unit, Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore.
