Ann Shiels (née Pender) Lower Rossmore and formerly of Ballinkillen, Bagenalstown, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on July 18th, 2021, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.

Beloved wife of Eamon, much loved mother of Áine, Orla and Edmond and cherished sister of Carmel, Molly, Judy, Tom, Josie and the late Peg, Andy, Esther, Christy, Pat and Sean.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughters, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

May Ann’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, Ann’s Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday at 12 noon, in St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, (50 people max) and will be followed by burial in Killeshin Cemetery.

Ann will journey from her house to Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Graiguecullen, on Monday at 12 noon. Friends and neighbours are very welcome to line that route in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect.
