The family of Annie O’Connor (nee Nihill), Kilbride Street, Tullamore, Offaly, sadly announce the death of their beloved mother on Friday, 29th October, in the loving care of the wonderful and dedicated staff of the Riada House Nursing Home, Tullamore. Predeceased by her husband Noel, infant daughter Tracey, great-granddaughter Abbie, sisters Mary, Pauline, Elizabeth (Lizzy), brothers Francis and Christy. Annie will be greatly missed by her heartbroken daughter Jackie, her sons Joseph, Kevin, Noel, her brother Simon, daughters-in-law Paula, Tricia and Jackie’s partner PJ., grandsons Alan, Ross, Ciaran, and Jack, granddaughters Shauna, Katie, Aoife and great-grandson Cian. She will always be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Annie’s life-long wish was for her body to be donated to the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland for the purpose of research. The family have arranged for a Requiem Mass to be celebrated on Saturday, 6th November, at 11.15am in the Church of The Assumption, Tullamore. All those who would like to attend and celebrate Annie’s wonderful life are warmly welcomed to do so by the family.
