Barry (Finbarr) Scanlon

Scanlon, Barry (Sandymount, Dublin and formerly of Trim, Co. Meath) 9th January 2025; passed peacefully after a short illness with his family by his side in the exceptional care of all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Mater Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Dermot & Bridget, beloved father of Darragh, Katie and Aine and adored grandad to James and Hannah. Barry will be forever loved, remembered and dearly missed by his heartbroken children and grandchildren, Aine's partner Leigh, sisters Joan and Jacqueline, brothers-in-law Darius, Robert, Nicky and Tommy, sisters-in-law Aisling , Deirdre and Kay, niece Ciara, nephews Ryan, Shaheen and Sharam, the Bowes family, extended family, friends and his Temple Street, Route 66ers.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Monday from 2pm to 3pm followed by a Celebration of Barry’s life in The Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Cemetery arriving at approximately 3.45pm.
