Crestwood, Galway, formerly of Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath and Tramore, Co. Waterford.

 

On the 14th May, 2022 Bernie, our beautiful mother, passed away peacefully after a short illness in the gentle loving care of the staff of Caiseal Geal Nursing Home where she felt truly ‘at home’. The kindness of the staff, both past and present will never be forgotten.

 

Pre-deceased by her husband Desmond, parents Marcella and James, siblings Polly, Mena, Cella, Carmel, Paddie, Stan, Brendan and Seamus. Rest In Peace.

 

Mourned and sadly missed by her son David (Dublin) and daughter Jackie (Headford), son-in-law Liam O’ Sullivan, beloved grandchildren Caoimhe (Brisbane) and Conor, her sister Angel Feerick (Ballinrobe) and brother Martin (Tullamore), nieces and nephews, the extended McDonagh and Moran familes, friends and neighbours and residents and staff of Caiseal Geal.

 

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Bernie on Tuesday, 17th May, 2022 at 12 noon at the Church of the Resurrection, Ballinfoyle, Headford Road (H91W298). Bernie will be laid to rest in the new cemetery, Bohermore. Livestream link for Mass https://youtu.be/vGJC3hoE27Q. Family flowers only.
