The death has occurred of Bernard (Barney) Garry, aged 81 years old, peacefully at home surrounded by loving family, after a long illness borne bravely. Barney, the beloved husband and best friend of Mary (nee McEnroe), adored father to Kathleen (Kate), Christopher and Adrian. Beloved father in law to Aisling and grandfather to Amelia, Senán and Rían. Predeceased by his parents Kathleen and Christopher Garry, sister Kitty Lynch and brother Christy. Deeply missed by his sister Chrissie Murray, brothers in law Noel Murray and Con McEnroe and sister in law Ann Fox. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and wide circle of friends.
May Barney Rest In Peace
Reposing at his home on Monday from 2pm – 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday in Mountnugent Church at 11 am with burial immediately afterwards in Ballinacree Cemetery. House strictly private on Tuesday morning, please. Family flowers only, donations, in lieu, to COPD Outreach, Cavan General Hospital. Government guidelines in place, funeral attendance is fifty percent of church capacity.
